Today in the evening I was out with my family. We were looking for a peaceful spot where we could talk and enjoy some light refreshments with chai! We stopped by this new tea spot “ChaiNama” at the hasan square, block 13A, Gulshan e Iqbal. There were chairs and tables outside the little shop and we did not feel the need of a family hall because the cool breeze felt so good there. Also, the Pak vs Agf WC match was also being showed live on the screen. This place seemed like a perfect spot to spend the evening.

On the menu card, there were different types and varieties mentioned of chai and parathas. We went for 3 cups of doodh patti chai, 1 chicken cheese paratha and 2 laccha parathas. I absolutely loved their chicken cheese paratha. It had the perfect amount of shredded chicken and cheese filled inside it. The ketchup and white sauce added more to its deliciousness.

Their laccha parathas were also very tasty. They were hot, perfect and round parathas that tasted very good along with the doodhpatti.

We had asked the waiter to keep low sugar in the doodh patti. It was absolutely what one would define as a “karak chai”.

And we enjoyed all of this in just rs 500. Cool wind, tasty parathas, strong chai! Doesn’t it sound such a perfect ‘chai nama’ for all the chai-arsis out there haha?! 😀
